Quick deals in the Green Hell
Last year the German television program die story broadcast a 45-minute documentary about the ongoing issues facing Nürburgring GmbH and the possible ramifications for the local businesses in Nürburg and surrounds.
The key people featured in the story are Uschi Schmitz, hotelier and long-time Nürburg resident—yes, she’s Sabine’s mum, too—and Kai Richter (pictured above left), the man who, somehow, finds himself leading the Ring into a new and uncharted era.
This documentary found its way to YouTube last December, thanks to Mike Frison, but it’s only recently that English subtitles have been added. You can watch the film in full after the break and, if you care about the Nürburgring and its 80-year plus legacy then we highly recommend you watch the following footage.
