2010 Nürburgring 24 hour – LIVE internet coverage
The start of the 2010 Nürburgring 24 hour race is not too far away now and if you’re keen to monitor progress of the event here’s a few tips.
Live radio coverage will be provided by Radio Le Mans, and you can also follow RLM via twitter. The official Nürburgring 24 hour website will again provide pictures via a live stream with a link to be active once transmission commences. The link will be posted here once available. German TV station Sport1 will be broadcasting up to 16 hours of the race, although their live stream appears to be limited by IP address. Other streams may pop up over the weekend and if you hear of any please post a link in the comments section below.
Just as in 2009 you will be able to follow the race via live GPS update. Access is provided HERE. As posted earlier in the week, you can also follow the race on your mobile phone.
Other tidbits from twitter can be found by following UK motoring journos Chris Harris (Porsche 911 GT3 RS) and Richard Meaden (Aston Martin V12 Vantage). There will also be updates from AUSringers via the AUSmotive twitter account. If you are using twitter to follow the race make sure you use the #N24 hashtag.
Photo updates are being loaded to twitter, too, by Jochen from Frozenspeed. Aston Martin are also tweeting from the Nürburgring, giving inside info on their V12 Vantage and Rapide entries.
AUSringers will be providing updates of the Aussies and Kiwis competing. Regular reader and N24 racer Wayne Moore has left some comments in the Your Story column, as well.
UPDATE: EVO magazine have handy reference page for their coverage of the race HERE.
UPDATE 15 May: The live stream from the official N24 website is now active.
UPDATE 16 May: Keep up to date with the entire field with this live timing link.
