The awesome sound of a race-prepped Aussie V8 will be heard through the Eifel region once again, with the Mal Rose Racing V8 Commodore returning for the 2009 Nürburgring 24 hour race. With a fully rebuilt 6.0 litre VY Commodore V8 Supercar at their disposal drivers Mal Rose, Peter Leemhuis and Tony Alford will be hoping to improve on their 31st outright placing in 2008.

Mal and his team began their 2009 preparations with a solid hit out at the Dubai 24 hour race in January. Australian viewers can see highlights of the lads in action at that race on SBS TV this weekend.
